Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility: The Australian – Just Get It Done! – Rope Access Challenge (hereinafter referred to as “the Event”) is open to individuals representing a rope access company. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts. By entering the Event, participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Entry Requirements: Participants must be representing a rope access company that has a legitimate website and holds current public liability and workers compensation insurance. Proof of eligibility may be required by the organizers.

3. Registration: Participants must complete the official registration process provided by the organizers. Incomplete or inaccurate registrations may result in disqualification from the Event.

4. Participant Conduct: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner throughout the Event. Any behavior deemed inappropriate, including but not limited to, cheating, foul language, or disruptive behavior, may result in immediate disqualification and removal from the premises.

5. Safety: The safety of all participants is paramount. Participants must adhere to all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the organizers and event staff. Failure to comply with safety regulations may result in disqualification and removal from the Event.

6. Disqualification: The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant found to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions or engaging in any behavior deemed detrimental to the integrity of the Event.

7. Entry Fee: Entry fees are non-refundable, regardless of the circumstances, including but not limited to disqualification for any reason.

8. Changes to the Event: The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the Event, including but not limited to, the schedule, rules, and location, at their discretion. Participants will be notified of any changes in a timely manner.

9. Liability: Participants acknowledge and accept the risks associated with participating in the Event. The organizers, sponsors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the Event.

10. Publicity: By participating in the Event, participants grant the organizers the right to use their name, likeness, and/or voice in any promotional materials related to the Event, without compensation. Participants also grant permission for the organizers to use any photos or videos taken during the Event for promotional purposes.

11. Privacy: Personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Event and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

12. Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

13. Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Acceptance: By participating in the Event, participants indicate their acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply with all rules and regulations set forth by the organizers.
